08 Questions about this product

Questions about this product

How long does one SOP take to write with this?

The mapping worksheet takes twenty to forty minutes for a job you do regularly, and the writing takes about the same again. The examples are there to stop you over-writing the first one.

Is this suitable for ISO 9001 documentation?

No. There is no controlled document register, no approval workflow, no version-control audit trail and no numbering scheme. It is written for teams who currently have nothing, not for teams being audited.

Do we need Notion for the review tracking?

For the automatic surfacing of stale procedures, yes — it is a filtered database view. In the Docs version the review date is a field in the header, and remembering to check it is on you.

Can we adapt the template rather than use it as given?

That is expected. The nine parts are argued for in the guidance, but nothing is locked. Teams commonly merge "who to ask" into the header and drop "related procedures" until they have several.
