What you need
Requires a free Notion account and a Google account for the metric sheet.
Compatibility
  • The Notion space is a duplicate link and works on the free personal plan; the decision log and action list are ordinary databases with filtered views.
  • The metric sheet is a Google Sheets copy link. It can be downloaded as .xlsx afterwards, though the sparkline formulas are the one thing that does not survive that trip cleanly.
  • No metrics are pre-filled beyond three illustrative rows, which are meant to be replaced.
  • Contents are in English. Nothing is locked, protected or scripted.

03 Suited to / not suited to

Who this is for

Suited to

  • Teams of roughly five to twenty who already meet weekly and get little from it
  • Founders and ops leads who keep re-litigating settled decisions
  • Anyone who wants a decision record without buying a tool to hold it

Not suited to

  • Teams under five people, where the meeting is probably the problem rather than the agenda
  • Anyone expecting a defined metric set — you choose what to measure, this only holds it

08 Questions about this product

Questions about this product

How long is the meeting meant to be?

The agenda is timed for 45 minutes with twelve prompts. There is a 25-minute cut marked in the guidance, which drops four prompts and shortens the metric review.

What goes in the decision log — everything?

Only decisions that would be expensive to reverse or that someone will ask about later. The guidance gives a two-question test, and the log is far less useful when it becomes a minutes archive.

Which metrics should we track?

That is yours to decide, deliberately. The notes tab asks you to write down how each metric is measured and who owns the number, which in practice is where most metric sets fall apart.

Can we run it entirely in Google Sheets, without Notion?

The numbers, yes. The decision log and action list would need rebuilding as sheets, and they rely on filtered views that are more work to maintain there.
